010 Editor Scripts For .rpack File Modding v1.03

These scripts are no longer maintained as I don’t have access to the game files anymore. You are free to fix/improve the scripts or even create your own tool based on it as long as you give proper credit.

Scripts to help modders unpack .rpack files and reimport their modded files back to the game. Maybe someone can make a proper rpack mod installer out of it.

REMINDER
When you run the inject script on a rpack, any mods installed beforehand will be wiped. Check how to install multiple mods section to merge mods.

What is it?
rp6l.bt
required file for scripts to function

rp6l_unpack.1sc
unpack script for modders. unpacked rpack files will be saved in the same directory as your rpack, named “rpack_name_unpack”

How to install a mod into a rpack?
1. Install 010 Editor
2. Install rp6l.bt template by navigating to Templates > View Installed Templates in 010 Editor, then click Add and add rp6l.bt as below:
3. Open the rpack file (Found in Dying Light 2 Stay Human\ph\work\data_platform\pc\assets) your mod needs to install in with 010 Editor:

4. Open rp6l_inject.1sc in 010 Editor, select the opened rpack with this button.
5. When the program asks you to select a folder, find and select the mod folder, for example Sneed’s Bleak Retexture Mod:

6. Wait until the program tells you it’s completed:

How to install multiple mods/merge mods into a rpack?
1. Create a new folder
2. Copy the mods’ files into the new folder, for example 2019’ish biomarker glove and bracelet retexture and Sneed’s Bleak Retexture Mod:
