RTX-ish Foliage without RTX GPU

This mod mimics the grass from RTX mode for this game. It’s for people who want similar type of grass but can’t because they cannot enable RT.

What is this exactly?
– It’s a shader preset that uses MXAO for the AO and Veil shaders to hide AO effect in fog.
– The purpose is to mimic Ambient Occlusion from the RT graphics of this game, its supposed to make Grass look much more denser and give it more depth. It’s not perfect, but I will update it to look better once I get my hands on info allowing me to modify in game SSAO.
– Grass, the entire shader is focused on GRASS, grass is the best, this shader does not modify color or anything like that but it does come with a handy sharpening filter (you can turn off)

How to use it?
Follow any guide on youtube for downloading and using reshade, much more clear than me explaining it in a long boring text. But after you have installed it, you can tweak the value to reduce noise, increase or decrease effect and tweak how much AO should be hidden in fog.

Man this is like the 1000th reshade preset uploaded on this godforsaken website, why did you do it?

I’m crying, everytime I look at reshade I face the dark corner in the room and start rethinking about my life choices and how I have fallen to this point. Its a tragic story, please listen a bit.
I’ve been looking inside data0 and data1 for any way to tweak the in game SSAO or enable grass shadows (disabled for non rt) but to my avail, no luck.
I tried modifying LODs, all broken, tried modifying shadow radius from varlistsensors, all broken, tried piecing the broken pieces of my heart on the floor, all broken.

I will definitely switch it to a mod that modifies game code once I find a way to do it, so if you know it, please help.
